Correcting payment method in the ledger

In the old ledger and in the new ledger, there is no way to go back and correct the payment method, if accidentally chose the wrong one. For instance, Insurance Check instead of Check. It would be so nice to be able to edit that.

Yes! Corrections in the ledger need to be easier. And is there a reason we can't just have basic categories - check, cash, debit, ACH, etc.? I am curious why we would need to have insurance checks, personal checks, and check payments all separated.

This! Occasionally, we run into situations where being able to make a correction directly in the ledger would be incredibly helpful. For example:
Selecting the wrong payor
Selecting the wrong payment method
Entering the wrong payment amount
It would be great to have the ability to edit these entries, ideally at any time. However, even allowing edits within the same day—before the daily transaction report is closed—would be a significant improvement. Having that window of flexibility would be greatly appreciated!
