Improved document editing

We understand that the current document editor can be frustrating, and doctors shouldn’t have to spend their time fixing formatting for simple changes.
This initiative is focused on making the editor easier to use, so clinics can create and manage documents more easily.
Here are some issues we’re working to address:
- It’s difficult to apply basic formatting with the current editor.
- The font size in the letter text doesn’t always match the font size with merge fields.
- Applying color formatting is too complicated.
- Small changes to the document can mess up the formatting, making adjustments hard.
- Moving things around, like resizing a text column, can lead to formatting problems.
- Deleting a section of text can cause extra space to appear at the top of the document.

Hello! Do we have an expected timeline for when the document editing/formatting will be updated? I'm trying to improve my dentist letters and it's been so hard to get things formatted/sized in a clean and consistent way. Thanks!

I would love to see the document editor become a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface that is easier for me and my staff to visualize exactly how the document will appear. It's a pain when trying to edit the document that you can't see what the formatting will look like without generating a full sample PDF - another office I work at uses Tops and their document editor is pretty intuitive and easy to edit/format, which is something I miss with Greyfinch.

I would like to add that I'd love to see an improved document LOG. It would be useful to be able to click on the document and see a log of who was sent this particular document and how.
For example a document log could look something like:
Date, Time -- Emailed, Texted -- Email Address, Phone number -- Status: Pending, Sent Successfully
This would be extremely helpful in the Documents Section

When a document is emailed, the text in the body always says: "Please see the attachments for _______". I'd like to be able to customize what text automatically populates in the email body so that I don't have to add to it every time.

Yes, to start I would like to template my own personalized letters and then have only a minimum amount of editing to do. Also there are some referring doctors, particularly medical in my area that like a hard copy letter with an original signature. This means addressing a letter. I would like to be able to easily print out an address label say to a dymo label maker for the "professional look".

I would love a way to edit a letter that has already been generated, maybe a duplication feature, instead of having to redo an entire letter each time we want to change the recipients information within the letter.
For example, if I want to send a referral letter for extractions to 2 different oral surgeons, the letter is set up to auto populate the doctor's information and I add doctor's comments to the bottom of the letter.
But if I want to send the same letter to another recipient, it would be nice to just be able to type in the new recipients information instead of populating a whole new letter and having to type in all the comments again.

Please make it easier to add and delete bullets and maintaining the same formatting. Also, it would be great if we had the ability to change the templated verbiage versus resubmitted the master form every time.

Alissa Borda we totally agree being able to change to dx tab to customize it.
Also, we used to be able to create an inset tab bullet under another bullet but can no longer do that. We would like to be able to do that again. It used to be a white circle bullet as a sub bullet

I would like to be able to scan my letterhead paper and use it as the background for my letters.
