The goals of the API are as follows Enable Integration : Allow external developers to integrate with the Greyfinch platform easily accessing the main Greyfinch domains - patient profile, schedule and appointments, document, images, patient timeline and more. Enhanced Data Access : Provide developers with comprehensive access to Greyfinch platform data and functionality with a GraphQL engine and a callback mechanism for external clients using a subscription mechanism (event streaming). Improve Developer Experience : Offer clear and well-documented APIs with a user-friendly developer portal and useful tools such as a Postman Collection and sample snippets of code in common languages. Security : Ensure robust security measures to protect both Greyfinch patient data and user data. Scalability : Build a scalable API infrastructure to handle increased traffic and future growth.
